 \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMany of life’s journeys include loss. While we know
  inherently that loss causes uncertainty\, we are often surprised by the l
 ack of certainty experienced when grieving and how to ask for help while n
 avigating a world that now seems filled with doubt.\n\nJoin us for this wo
 rkshop to explore how grief is experienced\, and learn new coping strategi
 es to deal with loss and the uncertainty that often surrounds it.\n\n\n\n\
 nWHAT TO EXPECT\n\n 	Group interaction and discussion\n 	All workshop sess
 ions will be conducted via Zoom video conferencing\n 	Breakout rooms for s
 mall group learning\n 	Group discussions\n\n\nWHO SHOULD ATTEND?\nThis pro
 gram is appropriate for military survivors who are one year out from loss 
 wanting to learn new skills to supplement\, enhance and or support their g
 rief journey.\n\nLEARNING OBJECTIVES\n\n 	Explore grief and how we each ma
 y experience it\n 	Discover coping strategies for grief\n 	Understand the 
 Manifesto of The Brave and Brokenhearted as it applies to grief and loss\n
  	What support looks like for grief (giving and receiving)\n\n\nPOST WORKS
 HOP SERIES MATERIALS\nIn order to respect confidentiality and create a spa
 ce where people feel comfortable sharing\, we will not send a recording of
  the program to participants. We will\, however\, provide post-program res
 ources\, including handouts (in lieu of slides)\, to help support you in i
 ntegrating what you learned during the workshop series into your day to da

 n\n\n\n\n\nTerri L. Williams\n\nTerri Williams is an Educator and Executiv
 e and Leadership Coach with over twenty years of experience empowering lea
 ders. A proud second-generation military veteran\, retired U.S. Army soldi
 er\, survivor of the September 11th Attack on the Pentagon\, and TAPS Surv
 ivor due to her father's passing in 2010\, Terri has been a Senior Advisor
  at the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) since 2018. Traine
 d by Dr. Brené Brown\, she has facilitated the Dare to Lead™ program fo
 r thousands of TAPS Survivors\, specializing in strengthening skills to le
 ad themselves in living with grief. Her expertise is grounded in vulnerabi
 lity\, values\, trust\, resilience and emotional intelligence.\n\nAs an Ad
 junct Professor at American University’s Key Executive Program\, she ins
 pires leaders by enhancing their skills in leading teams. A Professional C
 ertified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and 
 the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). Terri has conducted ov
 er 3\,000 coaching experiences with leaders from organizations like Apple\
 , General Motors\, LinkedIn\, Google\, the military services\, and federal
  agencies like NASA\, Department of Homeland Security\, and the Department
  of Commerce. Additionally\, she is a retired senior federal official\, ha
 ving served in the Department of Defense\, Department of Veterans Affairs\
 , Department of Transportation\, the Intelligence Community\, and the Fede
 ral Aviation Administration.\n\nTerri is currently pursuing doctoral studi
 es at the Vanderbilt University\, Peabody College of Education and Human D
 evelopment\, specializing in Leadership and Learning in Organizations. She
  has completed executive education at Georgetown University\, The Wharton 
 School of Business\, Cornell University\, Yale University\, and the VA Sen
 ior Executive Candidate Development Program (SESCDP)\, along with dual gra
 duate degrees in business and management and a bachelor's in business admi
 nistration.\n\nTerri has received numerous military and civilian awards\, 
 and she was awarded the Department of the Army's third-highest civilian re
 cognition\, the Meritorious Public Service Medal\, in 2021 for her lifetim
 e work in military communities. She enjoys French cooking\, bicycling\, an
 d yoga. She and her husband are U.S. Army veterans\, and a Blue Star Famil
 y with a son and niece who are graduates of the U.S. Military Academy at W
 est Point currently serving on active duty.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nABOUT THE TAP
