  P.M. EASTERN\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMany of life’s journeys include loss.
  While we know inherently that loss causes uncertainty\, we are often sur
 prised by the lack of certainty experienced when grieving and how to ask f
 or help while navigating a world that now seems filled with doubt.\n\nJoin
  us for this workshop to explore how grief is experienced\, and learn new 
 coping strategies to deal with loss and the uncertainty that often surroun
 ds it.\n\n\n\n\nWHAT TO EXPECT\n\n 	Group interaction and discussion\n 	Al
 l workshop sessions will be conducted via Zoom video conferencing\n 	Break
 out rooms for small group learning\n 	Group discussions\n\n\nWHO SHOULD AT
 TEND?\nThis program is appropriate for military survivors who are one year
  out from loss wanting to learn new skills to supplement\, enhance and or 
 support their grief journey.\n\nLEARNING OBJECTIVES\n\n 	Explore grief and
  how we each may experience it\n 	Discover coping strategies for grief\n 	
 Understand the Manifesto of The Brave and Brokenhearted as it applies to g
 rief and loss\n 	What support looks like for grief (giving and receiving)\
 n\n\nPOST WORKSHOP SERIES MATERIALS\nIn order to respect confidentiality a
 nd create a space where people feel comfortable sharing\, we will not send
  a recording of the program to participants. We will\, however\, provide p
 ost-program resources\, including handouts (in lieu of slides)\, to help s
 upport you in integrating what you learned during the workshop series into

 n\n&nbsp\;\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTerri L. Williams\n\nTerri Williams is an Educat
 or and Executive and Leadership Coach with over twenty years of experience
  empowering leaders. A proud second-generation military veteran\, retired 
 U.S. Army soldier\, survivor of the September 11th Attack on the Pentagon\
 , and TAPS Survivor due to her father's passing in 2010\, Terri has been a
  Senior Advisor at the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS) sin
 ce 2018. Trained by Dr. Brené Brown\, she has facilitated the Dare to Lea
 d™ program for thousands of TAPS Survivors\, specializing in strengtheni
 ng skills to lead themselves in living with grief. Her expertise is ground
 ed in vulnerability\, values\, trust\, resilience and emotional intelligen
 ce.\n\nAs an Adjunct Professor at American University’s Key Executive Pr
 ogram\, she inspires leaders by enhancing their skills in leading teams. A
  Professional Certified Coach (PCC) with the International Coaching Federa
 tion (ICF) and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC). Terri h
 as conducted over 3\,000 coaching experiences with leaders from organizati
 ons like Apple\, General Motors\, LinkedIn\, Google\, the military service
 s\, and federal agencies like NASA\, Department of Homeland Security\, and
  the Department of Commerce. Additionally\, she is a retired senior federa
 l official\, having served in the Department of Defense\, Department of Ve
 terans Affairs\, Department of Transportation\, the Intelligence Community
 \, and the Federal Aviation Administration.\n\nTerri is currently pursuing
  doctoral studies at the Vanderbilt University\, Peabody College of Educat
 ion and Human Development\, specializing in Leadership and Learning in Org
 anizations. She has completed executive education at Georgetown University
 \, The Wharton School of Business\, Cornell University\, Yale University\,
  and the VA Senior Executive Candidate Development Program (SESCDP)\, alon
 g with dual graduate degrees in business and management and a bachelor's i
 n business administration.\n\nTerri has received numerous military and civ
 ilian awards\, and she was awarded the Department of the Army's third-high
 est civilian recognition\, the Meritorious Public Service Medal\, in 2021 
 for her lifetime work in military communities. She enjoys French cooking\,
  bicycling\, and yoga. She and her husband are U.S. Army veterans\, and a 
 Blue Star Family with a son and niece who are graduates of the U.S. Milita
 ry Academy at West Point currently serving on active duty.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
